this is a picture of a quilt that was commissioned by my PT employer Riverbend Community Mental Health Center for the Emergency Services Department. They have their office in a house that was built in the 1800's so they wanted something from that period. The embroidered branches of the Canterbury Shaker tree of life were done with my Bernina using a triple stitch with paper for a stabilizer. The director also wanted a picture of me as I have been selected at the NAMI NH mental health clinician of the year. It is not the most flattering as I was not expecting it. I have been growing my hair for Locks of love. Have to have it cut soon as it is so heavy that it is starting to literally hurt!
